Mr. Richard Gary Vance's Obituary
Richard Gary Vance was born on November 10, 1948 in Berkeley, California. He passed away on November 3, 2015 in Oakland, California. He had one daughter, Okeya Roxann Vance and one grandchild, Charles Porter III. He is survived by his sister, Rita McIntyre.
Richard belonged to Tara Hills Baseball, Hit N Run Baaseball Academyand East Bay Warriors Football.
Heroes are supposed to live forever. His daughter and grandson have lost their best friend, but God has gained an angel. He will be forever loved by his children, Roxy and Charles.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service is scheduled to be held at the Chimes Chapel at 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, California on Tuesday, November 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM.
Inurnment is to follow at the Chapel of Memories.
