"Dear family and friends,
We are mourning the passing of our dear father, husband, family member, friend, bandmate, Ophthalmic technician and music LEGEND Gary Arthur Nelson –– who passed away in our home the night of 3/5/21 from non-covid related sudden illness. When times are safe, we will find a way to commemorate him with a live jam session –– just as he would’ve wanted. He leaves behind his loving wife; Deborah Barer and three wonderful children; Keenan, Grace and Nathaniel Nelson-Barer.
