FRED G. THOMPSON passed away in SanLeandro on September 28, 2001. He was theIoving father of Gerald Thompson of Milpitas,CA and dear brother of Geraldine Thompson-Richardson of Oakland, CA He was the deargrandfather of Glenn Leonard. He is also sur-vived by his daughter-in-law Stephanie and(Son) Lynn Smith, his loving Aunt Ida Douglasand very special friend Edna Johnson.A native of Oakland, CA, he was 70 years of age.He was a member of the Masons and belonged tothe shipping Clerk ILWU Local 34.Fred was a private, quiet man whose passionwas jazz music. He will be missed somuch by all of us who loved him.
