Frances Madruga Agnello's Obituary
Frances Madruga Agnello, born on September 6, 1939, in Hanford, California, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025 surrounded by loved ones in her Pleasant Hill home. She was the beloved wife of the late Larry Agnello and a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Frances was the daughter of Thomas and Alice Madruga. She was a proud graduate of Fresno State University and lived a life marked by strength and devotion.
She is survived by her three children Ann Lemak (Gary), Anthony Agnello (Chacy) & Lisa Hernandez (Reynaldo) her sister Linda Yocum; grandchildren Mitchell Lemak, Tori Agnello, Jesse Agnello & Salina Horton (Hernandez); great grandchildren Mia (Jesse), Alexia and Aracely (Vincent), Jaciere, Tru, and Aiyani (Salina), and a host of very loved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Maureen Costa and Shirley Lee; and grandsons Vincent Hernandez and Austin Lemak.
Frances and Larry built a loving home in Pleasant Hill, California, where they raised their family and shared over five decades of marriage. Frances was known for her honesty, sharp wit, and strong will. She had a unique sense of humor and never hesitated to say exactly what was on her mind. She valued realness, simple things in life, loved the ocean, a good snuggle blanket, and kept a fur pup close throughout her life.
Though reserved in nature, her loyalty and love ran deep for those she held dear. Her strength and independence left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband in Oakland, California.
