Leon and Anita were my Neighbors for 13 years up on Kerrigan Drive. They were part of a tight knit group of neighbors from Kerrigan Drive that I would see out in front of my house almost every day. Lee would always be tinkering on projects in his garage. He would see me out in front of my house and yell in his gruff voice “BART!” I would wave and he would wave back in a come over here motion. He built an intricate redwood gate for his side driveway from reclaim wood. I mean a huge gate fit for a Castle. He refurbished a small lawn mowing tractor as well small motor trail bike at which I would see him riding around Kerrigan Drive. Mainly driving it to his Neighbors house the Barnes’s to have chat or to work on more projects. Leon often showed me his latest gadgets and always insisted on letting me borrow tools to work on my own projects. I will miss his insight on life, his off color jokes, his pipe smoke, his kind heart and his friendly wave every time I saw him. I inspire to be like Leon. I wish Anita and the rest of his family and friends the best and deepest condolences.Rest in Peace Leon,Bart, Erica & Gabrielle Thatcher
I remember. Lee, in high school, always a fun person, and always had a joke to tell. I remember when, several of us went to Half Moon Bay, Tony Domingues, Bob Francone, me Diane MacKay and others, besides Lee. We had a great time over there, and I have pictures to remember that day.God Bless Lee,Marlene Wisott Brown
