Evelyn was a true inspiration and one of my favorite people and (Wkgn East HS 1975) teachers. I love my memory of her flinging open the doors to a porch at one of our Faith UMC retreats and singing "Oh what a beautiful morning…..Oh what a beautiful day…." Another great memory was of her demonstrating how to call pigs "sooie…" in our Honors English class. She also gave all of her students a love of H.D. Enjoyed singing in choirs for years with sister Evelyn; recall clearly the challenge my husband experienced being the only tenor to sing in "Carol of the Bells" in a choir lead by Evelyn!! Aunt Evelyn was an inspiring, motivating individual! She definitely made a positive mark on the face of this earth and will lead a heavenly collection of angels in a wide variety of tasks in heaven.
