Eula Lee McInnis' Obituary
Eula Lee McInnis (11/23/1939 – 9/21/2017) was the third child of Jeff and Emma Hayes who both preceded her in death. She is survived by her siblings, Bertha Young, Ruthie Bodley, Laura Hayes, Alice Jacobs, Jeff Hayes Jr., and Charles Hayes as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Eula was married to Vernon Lafayette McInnis who also preceded her in death. Together, they had three children, Arletia Lynn Mayfield (McInnis), Vernon Lafayette McInnis, Jr. and Andrea Lynelle McInnis. Today, Eula is laid to rest with her beloved youngest daughter, Andrea. In death they are as inseparable as in life.
Eula was a loving and supportive mother. She was always available and made great sacrifices for her children. As far as talent and devotion, she pretty much fit the description of the Virtuous Woman described in Proverbs 31. She was a seamstress, a craft maker, an artist and a great cook. As a single Mom, she worked to support her family and provided a home for them. To others, she was an encouraging sister, an aunt that was always willing to teach you something new, and a cousin that was more like a sister. In later years, Eula experienced multiple health challenges that caused her to need constant care. She spent the last years of her life in the comfort of a health care facility.
