Esther Yoshiye Sera's Obituary
Esther Y. Sera passed away in Alameda, CA on August 6, 2001. Her beloved husband, George Sera, preceded her in death. She is the loving sister of Frances Sera. Her cousin, Minako Nakamoto, her sisters-in-law, Toshiko Kawamoto and Frances Kawamoto, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews and friends, also survives her. She was a member of Buena Vista United Methodist Church in Alameda, the Alameda Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary, and the Extending Connections Seniors Program. Friends are invited to call at the Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland on Saturday, August 11, 2001, from 1:00 to 3:00pm for a Visitation.
