Eric Wogsberg
May 17, 1945 – May 13, 2015
Eric passed away peacefully in his home after battling cancer.
Eric was born in Portland, Oregon and raised on a farm in Gresham, Oregon. He graduated from Centennial High School and attended Oregon State University earning a degree in Chemical Engineering. After graduation, he worked at the Benicia Refinery during the Start-Up phase. In 1982, he co-founded Jupiter Systems and as president led the company to global recognition by providing collaborative visualization systems to tens of thousands of leading businesses and government agencies in more than fifty countries.
Eric was an avid bicycle rider and participated in many bike rides such as Cycle Oregon. He often cycled up to 100 miles or more in a day. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, listening to Jazz, and growing rows of corn.
He is survived by his wife Pamela; three stepsons Brandon, Trenton, Devon Wright; siblings Philip Wogsberg, Claire Elliker-VÃ¥gsberg , Gail Wogsberg; nephew Jason Bouwman; and nieces Shaina Purves and Natane Wogsberg.
He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and everyone who knew him.
