Ellis Rembert passed away in the city of Oakland on October 10, 2004. He was the beloved Husband of Christine Rembert, who preceded him in death. He was the loving father of: Carolyn Wright of Oakland; Evelyn Rembert-Smith of Oakland; Mary Moss of Hayward and Crystal Rembert-Boxton of Oakland. He was the dear Grandfather of ten and the great grandfather of eight.Born in Linden, Alabama, he then moved to Richmond, CA in 1941. Member of the U.S. Army Veterns Association,Mason. He was employed with the U.S. Navy Supply Center in Oakland, CA for 43 years.Friends are invited to view the body Wednesday November 3rd from 5p.m. to 8p.m.at the Chapel of the Chimes 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA. Funeral Service will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church at 22582 South Garden Hayward, CA on Thurday November 4th at 11a.m. Burial at Lone Tree Cemetery in Hayward, CA
