Ellen Mary Conduit's Obituary
E. MARY CONDUIT February 12, 1914 – February 28, 2007 Mary spent her younger years in Australia where she was born. She met and married her husband Lyn and they moved to the United States where they shared over 50 wonderful years together. Her husband R. Lyn Conduit; her son, William Conduit and her brother, William Hurley precede her in death. She is survived by her son, John Conduit and Amy of Castro Valley; daughters, Neila Rutter and John of Atlantis, Florida and Trudy Snyder and Dan of Livermore. She was a loving grandmother of Danny Snyder, Bobby Snyder, Kristine (Snyder) Trask and John Adam Conduit. She was extremely proud of her great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jacey, Scott, Samantha, Emily, Joseph and Joshua. For several years she enjoyed her involvement with Oakland Business & Professional Women’s Club, NIKE Club, Insurance Women of Southern Alameda, Oakland Garden Club and International Training in Communication (ITC). Mary was extremely proud of her involvment in all of these organizations but held a special place in her heart for ITC. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611. A reception is scheduled immediately following the service. Memorial donations on behalf of Insurance Women may be made to: E.
