Edythe Lubbock McKellar Aug. 7, 1908 – Jan. 10, 2012 Resident of Alameda Edythe Lubbock McKellar passed away peacefully in Alameda on January 10 at the age of 103 yrs. She was the loving wife of the late Ray McKellar, loving mother of Renee Thomas (Rich), Darlene Gardner (Larry), daughter of the late Irene & Oswald Lubbock, sister of Bill Lubbock (Florence), the late Jack Lubbock( the late Claire & Ione). Grandmother of Brad Thomas (Janie), Deanna Thomas Madarasz (Greg), Kim Gardner Smith (Scott), Steve Gardner, Kristin Gardner Piotter (Aaron), Kelley Gardner McMickin (Adam), 9 great grandchildren & many cousins, nieces, nephews & friends. Past President of Edison School PTA. Past president of Children’s Home Society, 50 year life member of Eastern Star, charter member of Jobs Daughters, member of Adelphian Club and her many bridge clubs. In lieu of flowers contributions to Summer Home Park Improvement Club Memorial Fund c/o Susan Rosen 633 Rustic Ranch Ln. Lincoln, CA. 95648 where she spent many years at her cabin at the Russian River and had so many friends or your favorite charity .
