Edward Earl Werson's Obituary
Edward Earl Werson passed away peacefully at the age of 91 years, on October 16, 2018 at the Veterans Affairs Community Living Center in Menlo Park, California. He was born on August 15, 1927 and lived happily in Alameda, California for 85 years. After attending Alameda High School, he was employed by Southern Pacific Railway in San Francisco, California prior to entering the Army in June, 1946. He served in the Headquarter Squadron of the Army Air Command and received the World War II Victory Medal for his services in Alaska. Edward is survived by his sisters, Alice O’Toole and Mary Mattson, along with many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends thank the staff at the Menlo Park Community Living Center for their kindness in caring for Edward. Along with your check, please include that your donation is in memory of Edward Earl Werson and should benefit Building #331 of the Community Living Center in Menlo Park, California.
A memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue in Oakland, California, at 12:30 pm on Saturday, December 8, 2018.
