Edna Lucille Davis' Obituary
Davis, Edna Lucille Sutton, age 75, of Stockton, California, went home to be with the Lord in the early hours of February 7, 2021. Edna was a true and faithful child of God. She enjoyed sharing Christ and speaking of His love. She never met a stranger and enjoyed helping others. Edna will be missed by her family, friends, church family and many Christian organizations she was a part of. She leaves behind to mourn her passing daughters, Melanie Curry Wilson (Donald) of Atlanta, GA, Kenisha Sutton of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren Kellanie Scott of Burlingame, CA, Marquis White of Decatur, GA, Tyler Curry of Atlanta, GA, and Kimari Sutton of Sacramento, CA; great-grandson, Wesley Scott of Burlingame, CA; brothers Earl Sutton (Lillie Mae) of Union City, CA, and Donald Sutton of Oakland, CA; sisters LeeEsther Sutton McCraney of Greenville, MS, Gladys Sutton Harper (Harold) of Chicago, IL, and brother-in-law Freddie Lee Jones, Sr., of Greenville, MS. Edna also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Services are being held at Chapel of the Chimes, Oakland, via live stream (due to COVID attendance mandates) on Sunday, March 7th and Monday, March 8th.
