Dwan Carlson Burton

Dwan was born in Minnesota
and has been a resident of Berkeley,
CA the past 50 years. Dwan worked as a travel agent for many years and traveled extensively
throughout the world. Dwan was very active at St. Peter’s Church and also with the Golden
Gate Boys Choir. Although she was confined to bed the past three and a half years, her memory remained bright. She spoke fondly of her travels, church activities, and the singing boys. Dwan went peacefully at the end and was comforted by Fr. M. Mautner, Fr. D. Napier, and Decon and Mrs. Towle. Friends also by her bedside were Debbie Stanford, Cynthis and Tim Stember,
Kot Hordynski, Warren and Susan Fujii, and Theresa Ho.
A memorial service will be held at St. Peter’s Church in Oakland at 11:00 on Saturday, September 7th, 2013.
