Douglas Jones, Sr.'s Obituary
Douglas Jones, Sr., 66 of Oakland, California passed away peacefully on November 18, 2017. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 1, 1951. Douglas graduated from the University of Toledo and received a Bachelor’s of Science. He was married to Hilda Jones on June 9, 1979. Douglas worked in Industrial Sales for Schindler Elevator. He had a passion for golf.
Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Hilda Jones; beloved daughter, Emilia Jones (Marlon Lewis); brother, Ernest Jones and mother, Geraldine Jones.
Family and friends are invited to the Visitation on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611 in the Chimes Chapel. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 am also in the Chimes Chapel. Reception to follow service from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
