Dorothy Jean Grimes, 90, of San Lorenzo, passed away on January 4, 2020. She was born in West Virginia on December 1, 1929. Dorothy graduated from Technical High School. She was married to Gene Grimes on September 29, 1949.Dorothy has a passion for her family, bowling and shopping. Dorothy was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
She is survived by her children David and Steven, Grandchildren, Evan, Taira, Nathan, Anthony and Gerry, Great-Grandchildren, Kayla, Ariana, Layah and Amaya.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 11am, January 14, 2020, at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave, Oakland.
