Dolores A. Owens' Obituary
August 4, 1915 – August 16, 2014. Dolores passed away peacefully at her home. She was born in Sargent, Nebraska, the third oldest of the eight children of Varner and Hilda Goranson. She moved to California in 1941 with her then husband, Milton N. Owens.
She settled in Lafayette In 1955. She is survived by her sister Lynelle Cole of Lake Elsinore, and daughters Nancy Owens of New York, and Carol Owens of Pleasant Hill, and son, Bill Owens of Oakland, and her grandson Owen Serra of San Francisco, and granddaughter Anna Serra of New York.
Dolores had been active in Bible Study Fellowship for many years, and was an avid gardener and longtime member of the Lafayette Garden Club. For nearly 30 years she maintained a ranch and cattle business in Mendocino County.
