My Aunt Diane was one of my favorite aunts. She had this calm and sensitivity that was so beautiful. We shared a birthday month. I was born 4 days after date of birth. We shared many birthday celebrations. As a very little child I can remember Diane she would tell me how she wanted me to be born her on birthday. She would on an occasion baby/sit me in the black house on California Street in San Francisco. Upon entering the house there was a stuffed leopard or jaguar, I was afraid of thus as it looked it was going to lunge at me. Diane would always reassure me that it would not bite me. I can remember Diane telling me it didn't like little girls the age of 5. The first time I saw Togar I too was afraid. Again, she would assure me that Togar didn't like the taste of little girls. He only wanted steaks. This was my Aunt Diane's sense of humor and reassurance to little girl.
My Aunt Diane has impacted many lives and continues to do so. She will be missed. I loved her.
Fond memories of love.
