Dax was very special to the Nash family, his mother Myrna was like a daughter to the matriarch of our family, Bennie Nash. Dax will be missed so much by our family but we know he’s finally resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior. We admire the battles he fought, he’s earned his wings and is now reunited with his mom. Dax was always there for me when I was looking for new artists, we fed each other new sounds and shared our current faves that were keeping our aural obsessions alive. Dax was the first person to put me on Janell Monae's radar when he shared a promo of the first record and praised Saul Williams for being involved.
