I remember you always had a smile on your face even if it was a bad day for you, you would still have a smile. Its hard to go to your instagram page and not see you putting a pic of you up or you and your boys smiling. I remember having a bad day and we would text and you would ask me what's wrong and I wouldn't tell you but u kepted asking and I told you, and you told me to keep my head up and you would be there if i needed to talk to someone. There is not a kind word I could possibly say that would bring you the comfort you need at this time, but what I can say is Davon Ellis was a very talented, respectful, and charismatic young man that I personally had the pleasure of knowing. I remember he and my nephew seen me walking thru the mall and they ran up to me… Scared the crap out of me, Lol! When I realized who they wereI just had to laugh and tell them not to scare me like that anymore! Boy they got a good laugh out of that! Davon was like a nephew to me and I'm definitely gonna miss those random run- ins with him! Sending my love, prayers, and condolences to the family! We had Spanish together every time I would come Davon would make me laugh. He made the hard days better. I couldn't ask for a better friend. He was there when I needed him now hes gone and every time I think bout it it hurts and brings me to tears. I miss you Davon. I want to send my prayers to Davon's family, I know how hard it is to lose a son. I've watched my mom go thru it and is still going thru it so I pray that the lord gives you the strength you need. I remember the last thing Davon said to me when I was very upset "Natasha, dont ever stop chasing your dreams because someone said you couldn't be what you wanted use that as your motivation. Remember your a soldier so dont be strong be army strong". That is why im going to keep chasing my dreams. I love you Davon and I miss you. Watch over us all. See you soon.
