Barbara Sjogren
I'm happy to quote David's memorable line, "If you can't see me, I can't see you". We shared a blood line with Svante Lind via Anna Kjisa and although I don't remember seeing David, I am glad to know of him now. He was my junior by only three years so as I read about his life I discovered that I felt like I just missed him; by pixels, like happens in a large group photo when in a moment of inattention the shutter snaps and a face disappears. As I read I see we knew of many of the same places, I lived in the Bay Area 70-73, I know Lincoln Nebraska where my Sjogren-Tallman niece's attended the same high school. Plus various travels in the US and abroad. Even though I've spent many years in the Northeast, I feel I know something of his world in time and space.
I especially identify with his love of photography and the joy of seeing and being in a big beauty world. I don't remember seeing him so I'm sure he didn't see me. But in this message I read about him, I connect and I realize that some unknown links do run parallel in meaningful ways. Thanks for sharing David's story
