In Loving Memory of David Ngo Shan Cheng
David Ngo Shan Cheng, born in Hong Kong, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness, curiosity, and gentle spirit touched all who knew him.
David found his greatest joy in spending time with his grandchildren. Whether sharing stories, offering words of wisdom, or simply enjoying their company, he cherished every moment with them and created memories that will be treasured for generations.
A man of many interests, David loved music and singing. He could often be heard singing a favorite tune or joining in with songs playing around him. He was an avid reader whose lifelong curiosity kept him eager to learn about the world around him. He also enjoyed tinkering with electronics, delighting in understanding how things worked and finding creative ways to repair, improve, or build them.
Those who knew David admired his patience, thoughtfulness, and quiet determination. He approached life with a spirit of learning and generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand or share his knowledge with others.
David leaves behind a loving family and many dear friends who will miss his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love. Though he is no longer with us, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the lessons he shared, and the memories he created with those he loved most.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
David is survived by his wife, Wendy, and their three children: Jennifer Deskin and her husband, Eric; Christine Roxas and her husband, Eufrosino; and Roger Cheng and his wife, Jaime. He leaves behind his grandchildren: Jacob, Isaac, Isaiah, Alexander, Andrew, Theodore, and Isabella. He is also survived by his brothers, Ray Cheng and his wife Paula; and Ngo Xuan Cheng and his wife Xiao Li.
