David Ansted's Obituary
David Ansted was born in Toledo Ohio on July 12, 1947 and passed away on February 5, 2022 in Oakland, California. David graduated from West High School in Rochester, NY in 1966. He studied audio engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology and worked as a Field Service Engineer for General Dynamics in Ft Worth, Texas. His love of radio took him back to the Rochester area where he worked as a broadcast engineer and producer for various local radio networks. He made his final move to San Francisco in 1976 to continue his work as an audio engineer with his most recent employment at the PAC 12 Network. David loved music, stereo systems and was an accomplished drummer. His photo library of the local sites is very impressive.
David is preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Robert and Marianne Ansted as well as his brother Micheal and sister Randi. He is survived by his wife Natasha, brother Peter and sons Troy and Sean.
David has left us with many special memories. His humor and kindness will be missed.
