I only knew Connie for a brief moment of time (a couple of weeks in December 1965) while I was visiting and staying with my girlfriend who was Connie's roommate in a house in Berkley on Dwight Ave when they were students at Cal. One day we decided to go to a dance at the student center (unbeknownst to us held on the 2nd floor). We were willing to pay the admission but they wouldn't let anyone else in because it was full. We decided to sneak in, and based on Connie's knowledge of Cal building we worked our way through several buildings basements to the student union elevator which we took to the 3rd floor. When to door opened we were met by several (police) security guards. All is lost and we're in trouble until they said "you can't be here go back to the 2nd floor". I will never forget that adventure, and Connie will live in my memory forever. I'm so sorry we never met again, but happy I saw her college art work.
