Clifford C. Christie's Obituary
CLIFFORD C. CHRISTIE Long time resident of El Cerrito, born December 23, 1922 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2002 at the age of 79. His beloved wife of 52 years, Mary Alice Christie and his parents, George H. Christie and Grace Ellis Christie, predeceased Cliff.Relatives, Mary N. McGowan, Pat and Art Poulin, Louise and Larry Bezark, Marcia and Sal Caravello and Joni and John Bonds as well as many wonderful longtime friends survive him and neighbors survive him. Cliff was an Army veteran, Southern Pacific Railroad retiree, and a most loyal Cal and 49’er fan. The family wishes to thank the many caring and loving staff and residents at Chaparral House. His life was enriched by them (and See’s Candy). Friends are welcome to attend a memorial celebration of his life on September 15th at 2:30pm, Chaparral House, 1309 AlIston Way, Berkeley, CA.
