He was my music collaborator, advice-giver, protector and dear friend. I will miss his sense of humor and his "you know I love you" followed by a stern lecture. I know he's up there with his son, his father and my dear friend Tomika who passed away weeks before him, and I know if I dot all my I's and cross all my T's, Imma see em all one day. <3

Sending my heartfelt condolences to Cliff's Family . I was shocked and very saddened to learn of Cliff's Passing . Cliff was a Wonderful person, friend and great human being . I had the pleasure of working with him for the last 20 years and we made some great music together . I will miss you dearly my friend . Rest in Gods everlasting peace Goo Goo until we meet again .
I was extremely saddened to hear of Cliff's passing. He was such a kind human with a smile to dazzle for days. Our birthdays are 5 days apart, so we would wish each other well every February. I will miss those birthday calls. I am so glad that I got to know such a sweet soul. Fly free, brother. Now you are making music with the ancestors.
I was so sadden to hear about Cliff's passing. Every time I would see him, even just in passing, he greeted me with a smile a kind word. Cliff had an beautiful smile.
