Ciarah Charlene Elizabeth Payne, a true force of nature! Born in Berkeley, California on August 11, 2002, to Charles Payne Jr., and LaNetta Crater. Ciarah was a shining light from the very beginning. She shared an unbreakable bond with her brother, Jeremiah, and together, they were like Batman and Catwoman, unstoppable and inseparable.
From a young age, Ciarah embraced her faith and fellowship and Acts Full Gospel, where she found inspiration and guidance under the leadership of Bishop Bob Jackson. Her early education days were filled with laughter and learning, as she and her loved ones, her brother Jeremiah, cousins DaLonnie and Kaylin shared precious moments on the way to school each day, driven by Papa. Ciarah's talents knew no bounds. From excelling in a reading program in her early years to mastering The Baby Grand Piano, Expression Music, reading music and writing a note at the age of eight years old, wish she scored high for Northern California Competition. Musical instruments and sports , she proved to be a true all-rounder. Her journey led her to Berkeley High, where she was nominated for numerous awards and accolades. Not only was she a cheerleader and an African dance enthusiast, but she also played the cello in the Berkeley band and even led her volleyball team to victory with he grandmother's wise advice.
After graduating from Berkeley High, Ciarah continued her quest for knowledge at California Stat University Sacramento, pursuing a Health Science Major with the goal of making a difference in the world. Her passion for finding cures for diseases and helping seniors was truly inspiring.
Ciarah's infectious personality and love for her family shined through everything she did, from watching The Young and Restless with grandmother Alice, her captivating music to her famous spaghetti dishes that brought Nia, everyone together. Her impact was immeasurable, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her loving family.
Ciara's journey Ecclesiastes 3, on this earth cam to an end August 31, 2024 far too soon, but her spirit will continue to inspire us all. She leaves behind a legacy of love for her mother and father and light, cherished by her family and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ciarah was preceded in death by her sister Capricia, Grandfather Charles Payne Sr., Grandmother Alice Ridge, Great-Grand parents Julius and Juanita Crater, Alfonso and Nettie Sephers, Uncle James Wilson, Booker Williams, and Aunt Lena Brown.
Ciarah's memory will be cherished by her father Charles Payne Jr., Mother LaNetta Crater, Brother Jeremiah Payne, Grandparent Thomas Crater Sr. and Betty Crater, Uncle Thomas Crater Jr., (Pudden-Latwan), Julius Crater (Mont), Aunt Jean hudson, Ruby Arceneaux, Palma Crosby, Vanessa Gibson, Diana Turner, Elaine Ridge, Reaner Simon (Michael), Loretta Ary (Arnor), Dora Brooks, Dreaner Clay, Loretta Harrison (Leland), Sylvia Crater, Terry Brown, Irving Williams (Angela).
Along with a host of family and loved ones, Ciarah loved you all very much.
Ciarah, has a dog named Tootsie. He did not consider himself as a dog, but he was her best friend, her spy and troublemaker who loved Ciarah.
