Christine Oliver's Obituary
Christina Oliver (February 19, 1927 – April 13, 2015) Christina Oliver was born on February 19, 1927 in Michigan and passed away in Oakland, California on April 13, 2015. She was born Christina Kluk, in Michigan, but raised in Poland. She later was married and moved to Oregon then spent most of her life in California where she raised four children. She was the beloved wife of Bruce Dean Oliver of Greenville, Ohio. Christine was the mother of Bruce Rodney Oliver, Steven Leland Oliver, Timothy Wayne Oliver and Kathleen Louise Martinez, all of Oakland, CA. She was the sister of Rudy, Danny, Richard and Ralph of Jackson, Michigan. Christina was the grandmother of Nicholas Martinez and Karlee Oliver and the great grandmother of Marcus Junior, Kasigh and Kevion Marcelo. She is survived by her children and brothers Ralph and Richard Kluk. Christina lived in Oakland many years and was aged 88 years old. She belonged to the St. Jarlath’s Catholic Church and was a member of the Carmalites. She was a dedicated wife, loving mother and homemaker. She will be missed dearly and never forgotten. She once dreamt of a man at the door who had long hair and a beard. She said “I know you,” and it was Jesus. May the Lord bless and hold her close. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave., Oakland on Monday, April 27, 2015 for vistitation from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and attend services at St. Jarlath’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Burial is to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
