Chester B. Sturges in Oakland on October 1, 2001. Beloved husband of the late Zaylor Sturges. Loving father of the late Carl Sturges. Dear grandfather of Theresa Sturges and great-grandfather of Justin Ray Sturges Ellis and Jasmine Louise Cooper. A native of Marshall, Texas, aged 84 years. A member of Railroad Retirement Club, Master Mason Lodge #4. Worked at Naval Supply Center for over 25 years. Served in the United States Navy in Bremerton, Washington, San Francisco and Pearl Harbor.
