Charles Albert Nausin's Obituary
Fairfield ' Charles A. Nausin, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2006, at Kaiser in Vallejo, at the age of 93.He was born March 30, 1913 to Marta and Joseph Nausin in Citta' Di Cuorgne', Italy. During his lifetime, he was owner of the C &L Grocery Store in Oakland. He worked as a delivery driver and retired from the Langendorf Bakery Co. He was a lifetime member of the Fratellanza Club in Oakland. He was an avid golf player, notorious joke teller and loved to sing and play various musical instruments.He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lucie Nausin and brother, August Nausin. He is survived by his son, Gary C. Nausin and daughter-in-law, Imogene Nausin of Fairfield, CA, three grandchildren and spouses, Kristine Huddy, Lori Baird and Matthew Nausin; six great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Nausin, Concord, CA, and sister, Margaret Short of Hoquiam, WA, and many nieces and nephews.Friends are invited to attend Graveside Services at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 2560 Church Lane in San Pablo, on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 1:00pm.In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to your favorite or Alzheimer's Association.
