Charles Montecino's Obituary
Charles Montecino, of Oakland, CA, passed away on August 14th, 2019. Born on March 15th, 1954 in Albany, CA, Charles attended West Lake High School.
Charles shared closeness and happiness with his two brothers, Richard and Joseph. He shared many loving years with his partner, Barbara Westdyk, and together they welcomed three daughters into the world; Trina, Selina, and Sebrina Montecino.
Charles worked his entire career as a house painter in the construction industry, applying his careful and skilled work ethic to many different companies and individuals. He took pride in his work, and his work was well worthy of that pride.
When Charles was not working, he most loved spending time with his family, attending parties at every opportunity and living life to the fullest. He will be dearly missed by the family and friends with whom he shared great love and happy memories.
Charles is survived by his two brothers, three daughters, and nine grandchildren; Damari, Erika, Jordan, Jesus, Juliusz, Freddy, Sienna, and Dominic. He will live on in their hearts and memories, even as his soul is united with Christ.
A memorial service will be held at Chapel of the Chimes on Friday, August 30th at 10am
