Charles Christopher Kohs, 53, who has devoted himself to making life better for those with severe mental illnesses pass away at home in Oakland, California, Tuesday. Sept. 5th 2006. Born in Chicago, IL, moved to San Francisco, Ca in 1956, where he graduated from Mission High School. He then joined the Navy where he earned a rank of E4, trained and earned Corpsman and Psychiatric Technician certificates. He comple ted his tour of duty to his country and continued his education earning his California Psychiatric Technician License. Daughter Stephnie A. Kohs, his sister Patty Tarango, and brother Edwin Kohs thanks Charles extended family for there thoughts.
