Charles Chester "Charlie" Chatman Jr.'s Obituary
Charles Chester Chatman Jr. came into this world a blessing on January 15, 1960.
He was born to proud parents Charles Chester Chatman Sr., and Dorthey Ann
Gauthier in San Francisco, California. Charles was fondly known as “Charlie” by
all.
He received his education in San Francisco Public Schools attending Abraham
Lincoln High School. Charlie worked as Case Manager at Saint Vincent DePaul
MSC South and as a Construction Worker at San Francisco Airport until he was
injured on the job.
Charlie had the spirit of a hustler and a heart of gold. He loved his family and
friends unconditionally. As the eldest son, Charlie was a very protective brother to
his five siblings. He was a great provider that took care of his people. His life
passion was baking and he would often bake for anyone. If you needed a cake, all
you had to do was call him. Charlie also loved playing cards and dominoes.
The thing about Charlie was he was “ALWAYS CHARLIE”. It didn’t matter if you
saw him daily or if it had been years, he was always the same. Charlie stayed real,
didn’t change for anyone, and called it how he saw it. He will always be
remembered for his charismatic smile and his charming ways with the ladies.
