Chan Lan Fong's Obituary
Chan Lan Fong passed away in Alameda, CA on November 8, 2001. She was the beloved wife of Hall Fong and the loving mother of Oakland residents Arthur Fong, Annie Fong, Jennie Fong. Her son Eddie Fong preceded her in death. She was the sister of Chan Shing of Hong Kong and dear grandmother of Kimberly Low and Matthew Low. Her niece, Joan Chan and six other nieces from Hong Kong survive her.A native of China, she was 90 years of age.Friends are invited to call at the Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, on Thursday, November 15, 2001 from 6:00 to 8:00pm and attend Funeral Services on Friday, November 16, 2001 at 10:30am.
