I, Carolyn Holloway, remember Carrie LaBauve from back in the day at the Spiritualist Church of Two Worlds, located in San Leandro, CA. I remember the times when Carrie would give what we call "spiritual greetings" to the congregation, and sometimes would faint after giving several readings. I remember Carrie, when she opened her own church "Welcome Trinity". She is best remembered by shouting out loud, "Good Morning Everyone." I remember Carrie, when she would go into a trance like meditative state of mind during healing others. I remember Carrie, when she would sometimes jump up and down and the look on her face was as if she was rejoicing and praising the Holy Spirit or something! I remember Carrie, when she would open her door at her home to the public and all were welcome to participate in her service and welcome to stay and have lunch with her family as well. I remember Carrie, when she would do a favor and not talk about it to others, your secret was safe with her. I remember Carrie, as the person easy to talk to and quick to forgive but not to forget so quickly. I remember Carrie, as the pastor who would allow anyone a chance to find out what they were capable of doing whether it be medium-ship work; carpentry work; musical instruments, or practically anything you would seek out to do or become, she would meet the person at their level of understanding and work with them to achieve their aspirations and goals. Carrie LaBauve, will sorely be missed by the many people she met and her path crossed theirs, etc. I can honestly declare that Carrie did give her share of love and service while journeying on this planet earth, and she never grew weary in her attempts to do the right thing.
