Carolyn Ann Saulson, 70, of Berkeley, California, passed away on January 14, 2019.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 24, 1948.
Carolyn Ann Saulson graduated from Dorsey High School and received an AA in Psychology from Harbor College in Los Angeles.
She continued her education at the University of Berkeley in 2018. She was married to Robert Allen Saulson on May 11, 1967.
Carolyn Saulson had a career in Community work for Iconoclast Productions, Pacific Bell, the African American Art and Culture.
She was a member of Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church and had a passion for dancing, singing, poetry, political science and her favorite band was StageFright.
She was survived by (son) Scott Saulson; (daughter) Sumiko Saulson. Grandchildren: Franchesca Elenor Saulson; Joshua Andrakin and Elisabetta Maria Saulson.
Sisters: Gloria Mathews; Glenna Mathews and Yvonne Mathews. Brother: Steven Mathews.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00PM, February 5, 2019, at Chapel of the Chimes, Oakland, Ca. 94611.
