Passed away February 28, 2014 at the age of 71 after a brave battle with cancer.
She died feeling the love of family and friends, and in a beautiful home.
Carolyn was a highly spiritual and educated woman. She was a much beloved participant and dearly valued volunteer of Open Gate Sangha. She had both a PH.D and a Master’s Degree, and she was a teacher for much of her life.
She is survived by her brother Robert, her children Deborah and Michael, and four amazing grandchildren.

A burial service for Carolyn will be held Friday, March 7 beginning at 12:45 at the Chapel of the Chimes located at 4499 Piedmont Avenue in Oakland, CA 94611.
