Carol Lee Hamm's Obituary
Carol Lee (Tucker) Hamm passed away peacefully on September 22, 2015 at the age of 80, surrounded by loving friends and family.
Carol was born August 10, 1935 in Combs, Arkansas, the daughter of Coy Everett and Mary Mae Tucker.
Carol was the devoted wife of William (Bill) Hamm for 45 years before he preceded her in death on May 6, 2002.
Above all, Carol’s children and family were her life. Carol’s loyalty, strength, honesty and humor are well known to those friends and family who spent time with her. Conversations about family, friends, life and politics on the patio over coffee was time well spent with Carol at her home.
She also loved gardening and was especially proud of her beautiful roses and tomato plants. She loved Elvis, rhythm and blues music and dancing, especially with Bill. If the subject turned to dancing, she would love to tell how she was often compared to Betty Grable.
Carol is survived by her children, Carolyn, Vickie, William, and Erik, daughters-in-law Janice and Kathleen as well as her 11 loving grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren and four sisters.
In addition to her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her son, Richard, her brother George, and her sister Betty Lou.
We ask all that knew and loved her to pray for her safe passage into God’s loving care.
