Carlos Ruiz Gonzalez passed away in Oakland on June 28, 2016. Loving father of Carlos Gonzalez of Oakland, Victor Gonzalez of Oakland, David Gonzalez of Oakland, Patricia Soria Gonzalez of Mexico City, Veronica Gonzalez Becerra of Hayward, Monica Gonzalez of Oakland and Ana Maria Hogart (Deceased).
Loving brother of Sara, Margarita, Graciela , Christina, MariaEugenia, Ana Maria, Rogelio Gonzalez all of Mexico City and Francisco Gonzalez (Deceased).
And 8 Grandchildren Maricela Becerra; Gregorio Becerra; Zaa Gonzalez Cinco; Alizia Gonzalez; Charles Gonzalez; Carlos Gonzalez; Sofia Cazares Gonzalez; Anthony Emilio Cazares Gonzalez.
And 1 Great Grandchild Alexys Isabella Martinez.
Mr. Gonzalez was a Roman Catholic whom started his journey in the Naval Forces of Mexico (The Armada). His love of travel and adventure inspired him to relocate and reside in California where he learned the art and science of welding and participated in related guilds and labor organizations. He was an avid reader in both Spanish and English print. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus; and a humanitarian spirit, with a sharp sense of irony and hardy humor.
Friends are invited to visit at the Chapel of Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland on Thursday July 14, 2016 from 4-7PM Rosary at 5:15 pm- 6pm and attend funeral services at San Luis Beltran Catholic Church 1410 100th Avenue Oakland Friday July 15, 2016 at 10:00AM
