I think it was 1965 when my cousin Bruce visited New Orleans. During that time, I remember having curlers so big that they looked like soda cans because I wanted my curly hair to be straight since that was the style. Bruce and I talked about the cost of the curlers, and when I said in my New Orleans accent a dolla Bruced smiled and said, the California guys would love my New Orleans accent. Another St. Cyr just touched the face of God and is enjoying the banquet with Our Lord. Rest in Glory, Bruce!
