Brian H. Yee's Obituary
Brian was born on October 27, 1958 at the St. Francis Hospital in San Francisco to Wilbur and Elva Yee. His Chinese name was Yee Siu Hing. He has a younger brother Arnold. He attended Bayshore Elementary School and then Serramonte High School in Daly City. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science from California State University, San Francisco. Following his father’s and uncles’ footsteps, Brian enlisted for eight years in the Air Force to serve his country. He was stationed at McClellan Air Force Base and later in Misawa, Japan where he worked as a computer programmer.
Brian worked at Southern Wine & Spirits as a programmer for the last 25 years. He was committed to his job and the people he worked with. Writing code was a skill that he enjoyed with a passion.
After many years of searching for the “Right” girl, he met Emma, who would become the love of his life and future. They married on May 4, 2003 and shortly thereafter had Lori, their pride and joy. They lived in San Leandro for 10 years and recently moved to Dublin.
Brian was a devoted husband, loving father, loyal son, responsible son-in-law, wonderful brother, dedicated brother-in-law and a fun loving and generous uncle.
Many years ago, Brian confided with Arnold that he was a Christian. This was confirmed by Emma, Esther and Pastor Fong on February 8, 2014. We rejoice in the fact that we will see him again someday, in God’s time. His early departure has left a huge void in our hearts. We know that he is at peace and no longer experiencing any pain. Continue to pray for comfort and strength for Emma, Lori and Arnold. We love you Brian and we are comforted that you are reunited with your parents.
