I was watching Buzzer tv game show network & you were on it. You got 500 $ on apple dumpling match, then spin the wheel for 5000 w Bill Daily. The question Was, show us ur blank.. u said .. pictures bill said ticket. No win.. Game 2 Kimberly contestant & your intro, then commercial, came back to being over. Hope you had fun. I will always remember B.T. as my first Little League coach of the team sponsored by Frosty Junction. We didn't yet have full uniforms, only t-shirts with the Frosty Junction logo on them. After we won games, B.T. would load us in the back of a pickup truck (before that became illegal in CA!), and he'd buy the entire team ice cream cones @--of course--Frosty Junction! B.T., as we called him here in Weed, CA, was truly a larger-than-life personality. In the early 1960s--after he separated from the military--he was my little league coach for 2 years. The first year, he coached the Frosty Junction team, and the following year, he coached the Washington Senators team. He was a wonderful influence on young, local kids with an "easy-going intensity" that made you want to do better & excel. You are truly missed, B.T., and I am pleased to say that I am friends with your nephew, Ken Broughton.
To Roseanne and Jessica,You have always been a part of our lives and we will surely miss Booker T. I will treasure all the memories of you guys in my heart. You are in our prayers and thoughts and we love you. Rose, David and Samantha
Even Though we lost touch for just a little while Booker and Roseanne have always been in our thoughts. He is the Godfather to my daughter Samantha and we surely will miss our friend. I have so many memories that I will always hold dear to my heart. Thank you for being a part of our family and we love and will miss you dearly.
My brother was some kinda special; he always had my back growing up! I shall never forget all he did for me and my children. I have a home and a motor home to prove it. He is resting, praise the Lord. Memories will continue!
