Bon Ru Chang Cheng, age 71 years was born on March 22, 1946 in Shanghai, China. She passed away peacefully with her family at her side on May 6, 2017 in Union City, California. Bon Ru was born to Kuo Chen Chang and Yah Earl Hsiang.
Bon Ru is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Che Pok Cheng. Beloved mother of Tina Cheng and Elley Cheng. Loving grandmother of Contance Yeh, Harrison Yeh and Aurora Gyoshev. Loving sister of Tommy Chang, Jimmy Chang, and George Chang.
She will be missed greatly and her spirit will never be forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to the Visitation on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611 (in the Chimes Chapel) and the Funeral on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 9:30 am in the Chimes Chapel as well.
Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery, 5000 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland, CA 94611.
