BLAIR AYDELOTTE's Obituary
Blair Aydelotte Blair Aydelotte Passed away Sept. 3, 2006 at his home in Castro Valley, CA, after a nearly two year battle with cancer, surrounded by love from his wife Shannon; sons, Alan and William; close family friend, Jeanna Duerig; and loyal dog, “Chopper.” Born Oct. 2, 1952 in Oakland, CA, to the late William and Marilyn Aydelotte. He attended San Leandro High School, graduated from San Jose State University, and joined the family business, Hayward Electric, in 1978. He was a loving husband and father, loyal friend, respected businessman, sports enthusiast and youth sports coach for many years, an avid reader and history buff, and a man of strong will and humor. Survived by his wife of 28 years, Shannon; sons, Alan and William; brother, Mark and numerous relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Blair’s caring doctors: Francis Johnson and Ricardo daRoza (Castro Valley) and Andrew Ko (UCSF). Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at Chapel of the Chimes, 4499 Piedmont Ave., Oakland, CA, on Monday, Sept. 11, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. (www.lifemarkgroup.com).
