Bertha Damiani passed away on Friday, January 4, 2002, at the age of 96. A native of Germany she lived in Oakland for 75 years.The beloved wife of the late Joseph Damiani, she is survived by her daughters Elsa Yezzi and Dolores Parr and her son-in-law Emidio Yezzi. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Paul Yezzi and Andrea (Yezzi) Cardinale, her grandson-in-law John Cardinale and her great-granddaughter Emma Rose Cardinale.A past president of the Regina Elena Club, Mrs. Damiani was very active in fundraising for many local charities and organizations.Devoted to her family, her many nieces, nephews and cherished friends, she will be truly missed!Interment was private.Chapel of the Chimes-Oakland(510) 654-0123″Service of Marked Distinction”
