Ashley N. Khan-Britt's Obituary
Ashley Nichele Khan-Britt was born on February 23, 1991 to her
mother Debra Ann Britt. Ashley’s arrival was a joyous occasion.
She was a precocious child full of life.
Ashley lived in Pittsburg, CA where she was raised by her mother
and maternal grandmother whom she fondly called, ”Nanny”. She
was raised in the Diane Church of Christ and accepted Christ at a
young age. She later transferred her membership to the Delta Bay
Church of Christ.
She attended Pittsburg schools and graduated from Pittsburg High
in June 2008, a year early. She was a very smart young lady and
had a natural gift when it came to learning. She attended some
college and later worked at the Oil Refmery.
Ashley enjoyed hanging out and partying with her friends, having
beauty treatments such as: manicures, pedicures, hair and make-up
done. She had a forgiving heart and was always seeing the positive
and trying to help out others. She positively changed the lives of
all that she touched.
Ashley was diagnosed with cancer in July 2012. Her cancer was
both rare and aggressive. Though her cancer would get her down
at times, she continued to fight a good fight until God came and
took His angel. She has gained her wings and is now soaring
without pain nor worries.
Ashley leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, her loving mother,
Debra Britt (Pittsburg, CA); her Aunt, Lisa Britt (Torrance, CA);
her Uncle, Scott Britt (Emeryville, CA); her Cousins, Aliyah Gray
(Nashville, TN), Bryce Gray (Frisco, TX); her Papa, Illey B.
Mitchell (Stockton, CA); her Auntie Mommie Regina Bonds; her
brothers, Josh, Caleb, and Austin Bonds, (Suisun, CA); her best
friend Swanise Riley (Pittsburg, CA), and a host of loving uncles,
aunts, cousins, friends and extended family.
