Arthur Storment's Obituary
Arthur McClellen Storment Jr., 89, of Lafayette, California, passed away on October 28, 2018, with his wife of 43 years, Barbara Storment, at his bedside. He was born in Los Angeles,Ca, on July 18, 1929, to Arthur and Jasmine Storment. Arthur graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and received his MD degree from UCSF. He joined the army in 1953 where he did his internship before he served in Korea as a regimental surgeon. Arthur had a career in internal medicine. He was self employed and practiced at Ralph K. Davies Medical Center for 51 years. He was a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, and faithfully attended their annual meetings. He was also a full clinical professor at UCSF. He had a passion for his practice, his children and grandchildren, traveling the world, Cal Games complete with tailgate parties, and waterskiing at Lake Wildwood. He is survived by Phyllis Carouba, Yvonne Bentley, Suzanne Jillo, Jeanne Brooks, Susan Gagnier, Sandy Clarke, Sharon Gagnier, Arthur Gagnier, Kathleen Risser, and 15 grandchildren. The memorial service will be held on December 1st at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Chimes in Oakland, Ca.
