I worked with Art in 1978 when I was 23. There were a lot of men that had a difficult time with women on the ramp. Art did everything possible to make every day wonderful. He was kind and respectful. He made the world especially the ramp in Oakland a little slice of heaven.
I never met anyone with such a beautiful smile and a joyous spirit. He never had a bad day.
