Arnetta Lee Jackson Bartlow studied with opera and vocal coaches such as Eugenia Covert, and Dickson Tutis. She has been a former member of the Oakland Symphony Chorus for several seasons. Arnetta has been a soloist and Executive Board member of the Oakland Symphony as well. She has performed at the Mozart Festival at Davies Symphony Hall, San Francisco; Oakland Ballet, National Democratic Convention held in San Francisco; and guest soloist at the Merritt College Commencement Exercises. Also she has given concerts for the Alameda Unified School District, and was the Artistic Director for Chapel of the Chimes Christmas Holiday Concerts for several seasons. Arnetta has been honored by numerous political and philanthropic organizations and has received awards from the city of Berkeley and Oakland. Additionally, she has been a Minister of Music for churches throughout the San Francisco Bay Area for over 40 years. Arnetta Lee Jackson Bartlow has dedicated her life to making music for over 8 decades sharing her wonderful musical talents, giving joy to the world.
